I don`t like the pic myself but at least it is honest.

Talking in English is not as easy as writing if you are not trained. Maybe i will participate in a conversation course at Volkshochschule to improve it.

Here's how:
I thought it was quite interesting! And I know in about 30 seconds you're going do what I did and find the
nearest mirror... Do you know how to determine if a mirror is 2-way or not? This is not to scare you, but to
make you aware. A policewoman who travels all over the U.S. and gives seminars and techniques for
businesswomen passed this on. When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how
many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a
2-way mirror (i.e., they can see you, but you can't see them)? There have been many cases of people installing
2-way mirrors in female changing rooms. It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it.
So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at? Just conduct this
simple

Test: Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your
fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror. However, if your fingernail
DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, FOR IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR!
"No Space, Leave the Place" So remember, every time you see a Mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't cost you anything.

never heard of such mirrors - what is their purpose? I could understand these doubtless expensive objects make sense at the police office - but in hotels and bathrooms?

Whoever is that mentally sick to watch women in a hotel can watch - his mind is already in a state which could not be taken serious. Poor creatures.

Take Down the Bird Feeder
The analogy is absolutely right on.
I bought a bird feeder. I hung
It on my back porch and filled
It with seed. What a beauty of
A bird feeder it is, as I filled it
Lovingly with seed. Within a
Week we had hundreds of birds
Taking advantage of the
Continuous flow of free and
Easily accessible food.

But then the birds started
Building nests in the boards
Of the patio, above the table,
And next to the barbecue.

Then came the poop. It was
Everywhere: on the patio tile,
The chairs, the table. Everywhere!

Then some of the birds</ SPAN> Turned mean.

They would Dive bomb me and try to
Peck me even though I had Fed them
Out of my own Pocket.

And others birds were
Boisterous and loud. They
Sat on the feeder and
Squawked and screamed at
All hours of the day and night
And demanded that I fill it
When it got low on food.

After a while, I couldn't even
Sit on my own back porch
Anymore. So I took down the
Bird feeder and in three days
The birds were gone. I cleaned
Up their mess and took down
The many nests they had built
All over the patio.

Soon, the back yard was like
It used to be...Quiet, serene
And no one demanding their
Rights to a free meal.

After the last meeting Volker who really did most of the footwork, and I discussed it and felt that there was not all too much interest in the group and that perhaps we should let the new born idea die a natual death.

Perhaps you bring a breath of fresh air into the membership !

Would anyone else be interested if we meet again ?

By Ansturm I think we should go for it but a deathly quiet would, I think, underline the lack of interest.

Hi Australien,
thanks a lot for your reply.

Well girls and boys, then please go for it.

On the following weekend most of us will probably be visiting the "Museums Ufer Fest". as there we will be able to hear all kinds of foreign music and lots of internation food will be offered.
But after that, any time, as long as you don't take too long to decide. Because then I might again miss it, as at last I will also be going for a leave.
